Kate\u0159ina Pavl\u00edkov\u00e1<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

is the artistic director of the ensemble. Her musical activities go far beyond the borders of the Czech Republic. She co-founded the Covert Ensemble with noted American saxophonist Dave Camwell which performs regularly in the USA and Canada. Kate\u0159ina is also a long-standing member of the Bohemia Saxophone Quartet, with whom she has participated in many distinguished international music festivals. She has collaborated with leading Czech symphonic and chamber ensembles and has appeared as a soloist with renowned Czech, American and Canadian orchestras. Kate\u0159ina Pavl\u00edkov\u00e1 teaches the saxophone at the Conservatory in \u010cesk\u00e9 Bud\u011bjovice as well as teaching saxophone at the Elementary Music School in Volary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Magdalena Probstov\u00e1<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

studied clarinet at the Conservatory in \u010cesk\u00e9 Bud\u011bjovice under the direction of MgA. V\u00e1clav Hru\u0161ka and Zden\u011bk Urb\u00e1nek and saxophone under the direction of Kate\u0159ina Pavl\u00edkov\u00e1. In 2015, she won the 1st-prize winner in saxophone from the PARDUBICK\u00c9 DECHY National Woodwind Competition. In 2016, Magdalena won the Jeunesses Musical Interpretation competition in Ostrava, CZ, and thus won the opportunity to perform as a soloist with the Jan\u00e1\u010dek Philharmonic Orchestra. She has also performed as a soloist with the Music Lucis Praga chamber orchestra, and at many international music festivals in the Czech Republic and abroad. She teaches saxophone at the Elementary Music School in Vimperk, and continues to regularly participate in saxophone masterclasses and events around the world.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Anna Hrom\u00e1dko<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

studied saxophone at the Conservatory in \u010cesk\u00e9 Bud\u011bjovice under Kate\u0159ina Pavl\u00edkov\u00e1. During her studies, she received many important awards: 1st prize and the title of \u201cLaureate\u201d in saxophone at the 16th PRO BOHEMIA International Interpretation competition (2018), 1st prize and absolute winner in the saxophone category of the 41st National Conservatory Competition (2018) and twice the 1st prize and the title of absolute winner in the saxophone domain at the PARDUBICK\u00c9 DECHY National Woodwind Competition (2019, 2021). She regularly attends saxophone courses and masterclasses of leading world saxophonists, and has performed as a soloist with several Czech orchestras such as the North Bohemian Philharmonic and the Krumlov Chamber Orchestra. She teaches the saxophone at the Elementary Music School Piaristick\u00e9 n\u00e1m\u011bst\u00ed in \u010cesk\u00e9 Bud\u011bjovice.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
